Yangon (Chindwin): A new picture of Daw Aung San Kyi has emerged, sending many questions about the health and wellbeing of the State Counsellor.
The photo is said to have taken on Thursday while she was being transferred to a new cell of detention within the military zone in Nay Pyi Taw from the previous cell, where she was detained for more than two years since her arrest on 01 February 2021.
As a picture speaks a thousand words, the new photo perfectly speaks about the level of how the junta regime is treating her at the detention cell and sparking an intense debate over her wellbeing because the one-sided head picture shows a glimpse of her deteriorating body figure with two big black spots on her neck.
On Thursday, General Zaw Min Tun, a spokesperson of the Myanmar regime, confirmed that the military gave Aung San Suu Kyi the treatment she deserved without further elaborating on the sort of treatment the military was giving her.
The 77-year-old leader of NLD is yet to face 13 of the criminal charges laid upon by the junta regime following their coup d’état in February 2021.
