(YANGON): Rev. Man Kyaw Soe Latt, 50, – a Christian minister, was reported to have been murdered while resting in his quarter in the compound of Church’s nunnery located in No. 13 block of Pathein town at about 7:30 pm on 02 September.
Mr Kyaw Soe Latt was found with brutal wounds of what appeared to be beaten by a hammer four times and stabbed in his stomach.
His motorcycle, money and his mobile were stolen from a quarter that his family occupies in the Church nunnery.
The incident occurred while his deaf mother and a worker were at the house. But the worker had been running away from the house since the incident had occurred.
The local police force is investigating the cause and suspecting a runaway worker who was there during the incident.
