Diaspora Zophei Chin Communities have reportedly donated USD 771,275 (over 14 billion kyats) to Chinland Defense Force – Zophei (CDF-Zophei), an anti-coup armed resistant group based in Chin State, according to CDF-Zophei Supporting Committee of Global.
CDF-Zophei is one of the Chinland Defense Forces established on 16 April 2021 under the command of Chin National Army (CNA) as a response to the military coup early this year.
CDF-Zophei is currently active in Hakha and Thantlang areas along other CDF coalition group.
Size of the group is estimated to be around 600s.
