All citizens in Myanmar will face long-term imprisonment or death penalty for supporting NUG, CRPH or PDF, even with a penny or a hundred Kyats, as supporting those organisations is illegal, General Zaw Min Tun, Myanmar military spokesperson, said during the 20th media conference in Nay Pyi Taw.
Mr Zaw Min Tun spent more than 15 minutes extensively explaining about People Defense Forces and presented power point clips with alleged images of crimes.
The military junta called on the opposition (mainly PDF and those joining Civil Disobedience Movement) to return to a legal fold through the junta’s propaganda media outlets.
Commenting and writing posts on social media in a way of supporting NUG, CRPH and PDF will result in prosecution under Sections 5, 52, 54, 124 (b), and 505 for long-term presentment or capital punishment if found guilty.
The junta’s media conference is broadcast live by its propaganda MWD TV channel.
