Yangon – Fomer Commander-in-Chief, patron of the National League for Democracy (NLD) – U Tin Oo is greeted by the coup leader – Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, at 9:00 am today 05 December, according to NLD lawmaker.
Detail of the reason why Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets the former Commander-in-Chief is not yet known.
It is the first time the coup leader meets with senior leader of National League for Democracy following the coup on 01 February.
NLD lawmaker, contacted by The Chindwin and who request anonymity for security reason is quoted as saying it is true and this is just the pure attempt of the military coup leader to make a political gain meeting with our patron who cannot make gain an unfair advantage by deception.
Our source has confirmed that Senior General Min Aung Hlaing meets U Tin Oo at his Bahan residence in Yangon.
Also, former Prime Minister U Khin Nyunt and U Tinh Aung are met by the coup leader today, according to The Burmese Post.
