Statement of former Sergeant Hin Lian Paing, an aide to Deputy Commander Myo Htut Hlaing

Hin Lian Piang joined Tatmadaw, known as the military in October 2008. He served in Tatmadaw as an aide to Myo Htut Hlaing, commander of the Northwest Command before leaving the army and taking refuge in a safe place. His parents and siblings are arrested and detained by the military at present.
