Telecommunication’s shutdown continues amidst the raging military offensive in Moe Bye in Shan State and Demoso in Kayah State

Yangon (Chindwin) : Myanmar military junta has cut off the telecommunication lines (internet and telephone) in the areas of Moe Bye and Demoso in Kayah [Karenni] State, amidst the heightening escalation of the junta offensive against the Karenni People Defense Forces.

Military junta is launching attack against Demoso in Kayah State and Moe Bye in Southern Shan State from four different fronts.

As new military reinforcements are approaching the two towns, t is expected that heavy conflict might take place in the areas, with clashes being reported already in the early morning.

Our source has confirmed that even the capital Loikaw is impacted with the shutdown, making the communication extremely difficult for people to send text message and make a telephone call.

Chindwin is independently attempting to verify this whether the shutdown is temporary or the same with the other 25 towns across the country.
