The junta regime beheaded a CDM teacher and perched his head on the fence gate of the school in Myanmar

Saw Tun Moe, 45, a former teacher, was beheaded by the junta troops on Sunday in Taungmyint village of Pauk township of Magway region and his head was perched on top of the fence gate of the school.

The victim was a former teacher in the village and joined Civil Disobedience Movement in defiance of the military’s rule following the February 2021 coup.

Mr Saw Tun Moe was reported to have served as a teacher in the school run by National Unity Government – a parallel government of Myanmar and was arrested by the junta troops on 16 October and beheaded and put his head on top of the fence of the Middle School of the village.

His son, known as Mg Kaung, wrote a condolence letter on his social media along with the images of his father’s body being torn apart in front of the school.
