The junta regime’s security forces kill two people in connection with supporting National League for Democracy in Mandalay region, Myanmar

05 October 2022

A new horrific report has emerged from the second largest city in Myanmar that the military junta security force and its Pyu Saw Htee – the paramilitary group had gang raped National League for Democracy supporter and killed her yesterday in the Mandalay region in Myanmar.

U Zaw Kyi, 48, was taken away by force from his home at about 7:00 pm on Monday by the junta security forces and Pyu Saw Htee group and killed him in the outskirt of the town, with his body found “half buried”.

Locals believe this is a revenge attack by the junta security force and its paramilitary group in response to the recent death of Aung Min Hteik, who was a member of USDP (Union Solidarity and Development Party) and worked alongside the junta regime in suppressing all pro-democracy groups in the region.

Mr Aung Min Hteik was killed by Bagan Ogre Force and its alliance group on 29 September in NyaungOo township in the Mandalay region.
