Fightings between the Myanmar junta forces and Chin Defense Force – Mindat (CDF-Mindat) continue since last week amid increasing military’s offensive in Southern Chin State.
One comrade of CDF-Mindat was reportedly killed in a clash with the junta’s forces in Shih Hmway village on December 26. At the same time, eight junta’s forces were also killed on the same day.
“A total of eight junta’s forces got killed, and many others were injured,” CDF-Mindat wrote on its official Facebook Page.
Another clash also occurred in Mindat town on December 24. “A captain of the Myanmar junta’s force and a police officer were killed in a guerrilla attack carried out by CDF-Mindat in Mindat town and confiscated two firearms of the junta’s forces,” CDF-Mindat reported on Facebook.
