The ZERO Guerrilla Force – Myingyan has announced the successful production of its own weapons on March 5.
The weapons developed by the Zero guerrilla include Z 16 Carbine and Z Sniper type of long-range rifle. These weapons will be used in future combats against the Myanmar’s junta troops, according to the statement.
Many of the anti-military resistance fighters also known as local People’s Defense Force (PDF) in Myanmar developed their own homemade weapons due to limited financial resources and lack of connection to armed trading.
The successful development of the Z-16 Carbine and Z-Sniper type of rifle has been a morale-boosting step for the resistance fighters.
