Five civilians killed in Kani township of Sagaing region, Myanmar

Chindwin is told that five civilians were brutally killed by the junta army, with their cars burned to ashes on 26 August, while the junta army stormed Chuangma village of Kani township in Sagaing region – northwest Myanmar.

Two days after the brutal killing of five civilians at the village located on Monywa – Yarkyi – Kalaywah .

When found the bodies, they were laid on the road, and the car and motorcycle destroyed are believed to belong to the deceased.

The junta’s pro-military groups portrayed the slain civilians are members of local resistance forces, however, locals in Kani township denied the accounts of what the pro-military claimed.
