Myanmar junta goes back to old ways as instruction is given to reintroducing intense public scrutiny

  • The military junta is planning to completely annihilate all civilian resistance forces by launching a heavy offensive across the country simultaneously
  • Public scrutiny is implemented to thwart the network of individuals and support network of civil resistance forces, mostly known as People Defense Force
  • Myanmar junta army has been widely stretched thin as one battalion is always lost in a couple of days whenever multiple fighting have occurred across the country

Yangon (Chindwin): Intense public scrutiny and tightening security check over citizens are being implemented by Myanmar military junta as the Vice Senior General Soe Win has instructed the members of the junta’s Administration council – handpicked by the junta leader – Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.

The Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Myanmar military has instructed to thoroughly check a national identity (red card) and household registration of all citizens by going after every house in the country during Myanmar junta’s Administration Council meeting on 01 April.

Vice Senior General Soe Win said every household would not be left unchecked regarding the citizens’ identity documents, such as the registration 66/6 form issued by the junta’s Department of Home Affairs.

The deputy Army Chief also instructed heads of the junta’s administration council that all citizens must show national identity cards in order to get permission to travel, including the bus drivers.
